Sigele Winbush is a practicing communications professional with expertise in media relations, strategic communications, civic engagement and special event coordination.
Sigele began her career at Ahmann, Inc. where she worked on a series of high profile projects providing strategic communications, media relations and civic engagement support around regional public policy issues. Her professional experience also includes work with companies such as Argonne Parades, the Barkley Russell Agency, and Planners for Environmental Quality. During her time with these organizations, she handled the media relations, event planning, and logistics for projects such as the Grand Opening of the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, the WSB-TV Salute 2 America Fourth of July Parade, and the Grand Opening of the Georgia International Convention Center.
Sigele currently serves on the board of the National Hampton Alumni Association – Atlanta chapter and is a former board member of the Old National Merchants Association and the League of Women Voters of Georgia. She is also co-chair of the nonprofit special interest group of the Georgia chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Sigele is a graduate of Hampton University’s Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications.
