Dear Participants,
We are excited to finally make it to event week. Months of planning have gone into making the inaugural Women Do Everything Summit & Career Expo a success. Unfortunately, due to the inclement weather forecast regarding the effects of Hurricane Ian and a Category 4 Storm projection for Atlanta, the Women Do Everything Planning Committee has decided to postpone the event until a later date.
We thank each of you for your support and for affording your time to participate. We are working with the venue to see if a new date can be obtained as soon as possible. In the meantime, we would like to use a Plan “B” and over the next few weeks’ record several of the sessions so we can deliver content virtually on our website. We will be reaching back out to you to see if your schedule will allow for a recorded version of your session that would be permanent posted to our website and YouTube channels. Again, we want to be cautious of the inclement weather regarding the hurricane and ensure the safety of all attendees, vendors and venue staffing.
We hope you consider being a participant in the rescheduled summit and career expo; expected to be held during the last week of March 2023. Our goal is to stay in connected with our participants and invite you to other opportunities to participate on the WDE platform as we move. Thank you again for your willingness to participate and we look forward to working with you to move the Women Do Everything Mission forward.
Sincerely,
Tonya Hicks
